Chapter 2: Soka University Soka University in Japan opens on April 2, 1971. Taking Shin'ichi's words to heart that they are the university's true leaders, the students of the first class strive to develop the school with the same responsibility as its founder. Chapter 3: Flowering On the 100th anniversary of President Makiguchi's birth, Shin'ichi's thoughts turn to the founder of the "great river of Soka." Soon after, he flies to Hokkaido and, amid his hectic schedule, takes pictures of the moon. These and his other photos over the years result in the exhibition Rendezvous with Nature.
