Chapter 2: Justice Misled about the Soka Gakkai’s activities in the previous years to bring Nichiren Buddhism to the world, many young priests intensify their attacks on the organization. Shin’ichi vows to protect the members by both urging them not to be swayed and by having frank dialogues with the high priest. Chapter 3: Fierce Struggle Marking the eighteenth anniversary of becoming Soka Gakkai president, Shin’ichi crisscrosses the country to share guidance at various meetings and visit members in their homes. Chapter 4: Seeking Spirit While visiting the ruins of the important Aoba Castle, Shin’ichi recalls when he and Josei Toda had visited and how Toda encouraged him to build a “castle of capable people.” Shin’ichi then visits Hokkaido and over some two weeks encourages some twenty thousand members.
